Hello Beauties!

I'm Katie, and I'm thrilled to be part of the Trends team! Born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa, I graduated from LaJames International College in 2011 as a cosmetologist and expanded my beauty services by completing esthetics in 2022. Additionally, I hold a Health & Beauty Management degree from Iowa Central Community College.

 

With over 13 years in the beauty industry, I'm excited to bring my passion and expertise to Trends and help my clients look and feel their best. I specialize in box braids, locs, and natural haircare for ethnic hair, providing tailored services that enhance and celebrate natural beauty. My goal is to use my education, talent, and practical skills to deliver exceptional care and service to all my clients.

 

When I'm not perfecting my craft as a beauty professional, I enjoy spending quality time with my five beautiful children and listening to music. I also prioritize self-care through meditation and spending time in nature to stay mentally and spiritually well. I strongly believe that when you look good, you feel good, and I'm here to ensure that everyone who sits in my chair leaves feeling fantastic!
